Observing a lack of feminine luggage, the Vera Bradley founders decided to create a company (named after Barbara Bradley Baekgaard’s mother) to design a line of quilted-cotton luggage, handbags, and accessories – and the rest is history! Vera Bradley has grown into an internationally recognized lifestyle brand providing a myriad of beautiful solutions for its customers. Vera Bradley is a leading designer of women’s hand-bags, luggage and travel items, fashion and home accessories, and unique gifts. The brand’s innovative designs, iconic patterns, and brilliant colors inspire and connect women unlike any other brand in the global marketplace.
As an Art Director, I had the pleasure of spearheading a dynamic photoshoot on location for renowned brand Vera Bradley. With a keen eye for detail, I meticulously selected models that perfectly embodied the essence of the brand. This careful curation process was essential in capturing the essence of Vera Bradley’s unique style and vision.
Following the photoshoot, my team and I worked diligently to curate the primary images for print campaigns. These images not only showcased the elegance and sophistication of the brand but also resonated with the target audience, ensuring maximum impact. Additionally, we carefully selected secondary images tailored for social media platforms, engaging with a broader audience and reinforcing brand visibility.
Transitioning into my role as Senior Graphic Designer, I took charge of crafting all print materials for Vera Bradley. From designing B2B point of purchase displays to developing sales presentations for distribution to sales representatives nationwide, I ensured that every visual element aligned seamlessly with the brand's identity. This comprehensive involvement allowed me to maintain brand integrity and uphold a cohesive visual identity.
Through my dual roles as Art Director and Senior Graphic Designer, I successfully brought Vera Bradley’s vision to life, creating a unified brand identity that resonated with consumers and industry professionals alike.
